The Royal College Road Race is a very much anticipated event of the Sports Meet. The Road race, conducted every year amuses not only the present students of Royal College, but also the Old boys and the Parents. When College was getting ready for the celebrations and the sports festival, as a request by the government officials, the College carried out an E.C.G. Check up of all the students who have registered to take part in the Road Race 2014.

The project took off on the 24th of January 2014 at the Royal College Union under the supervision and the sponsorship of the Durdans Hospital. The E.C.G. check ups were conducted according to the Following Timetable.

Grade 6 to 9 – 24th January 2014
Grade 10 to 11 – 27th January 2014
Grade 12 and 13 – 28th January 2014.

The Students were given the E.C.G. report and this program was conducted by the Durdans Hospitals for a discounted rate of LKR. 250.
