The Royal College Wushu Team makes a mark on history by being an outstanding team and achieving remarkable feats within the year of 2013/2014.

Kavisha Kasturiarachchi’s captaincy led the Royal College Wushu Team to be the Western Province School Champions, which was very well deserved and very pleasant to watch, after which, the same momentum caused the Wushu Team to be the Junior National Wushu Champions which gave great pride to the Wushu Team with regards to their achievement.

The highlight of Wushu Excellence for the current year was the Sri Lanka Schools Wushu Championship, in which Royal College was placed 1st, which gave brought tremendous glory to College while redefining the name and status of Wushu in general. This was a mark on Royal College History itself, due to the fact that the 3 aforementioned championships have never been won before in the same period, and was done for the first time under the captaincy of Kavisha Kasturiarachchi!

The Victorious Wushu team also got placed group 2nd Runners up in the recently concluded All Island Wushu Championship which was held at the Sugathadasa indoor Stadium, which saw the Royal College Wushu Team bringing glory in the form of 3 Gold Medals, 6 Silver Medals and 4 Bronze Medals!

Royal College Wushu has definitely been elevated to a higher standard and will now hold a benchmark which was created by the great feats achieved by the Royal College Wushu team!
