The Royal College Baseball team emerged victorious through out their All Island season. The victory streak started last year where the U-17 team emerged runners up as the U-19 team emerged champions in the All Island tournament.

This year the Baseball team of Royal College joins the books of history as Champions of the inaugural U-18 tournament under the captaincy of Chandira Weerawardena and his deputy Ishan Yasith. The tournament campaign fluctuated with close wins and easy home runs.

The first game against Ranabima, Royal ended in a score line of 10-0 in the Favour of the Royalists. The second game against Medirigiriya was challenging but the Royalists fought with grit and kept the score line at 3-1. The winners bracket semi final against Wewala disappointed the young lads in a score line of 3-4. But with another chance the Royalists beat DS in the loosers bracket semi final with a margin of 10-0. Royal college won both finals against Wewala as the scores stood at 8-7 and 14-7 respectively.

Contributing with his wonderful batting performance Kaveesha Abeysinghe was awarded Best Batter. Pinimal Lakshan was awarded best fielder along with Wathsalya Gamage who was adjudged as the most valuable player of the tournament.
