The Royal College Air Rifle Shooting team, lead by Senior Prefect Sulekha Galagamage, reaches new heights in the year 2014, with new achievements and awards, bringing glory to College!

With the awarding of the Best Shooter & Sharp Shooter Medals, The Royal College Air Rifle Shooting Team discovers new-found talent within them to take Air Rifle Shooting forward in Royal College and Sri Lanka!

The Best Shooter Medal is a medal which is awarded by the Sri Lanka Shooting Sports Association, to the best Shooters with the highest accuracy while the Sharp Shooter Medal is given for the shooters who have achieved the qualification level of shooting. This is also a  Medal which is awarded by the Sri Lanka Shooting Sports National Association.

Currently, The Royal College Air Rifle Shooting team takes pride in announcing that 20 Shooters have been awarded the Sharp Shooter Medal, and 7 shooters have been awarded the prestigious Best Shooter Medal

With the aforementioned medals being awarded in 2014, The Royal College Air Rifle Shooting Team looks for continuous improvement and is under effective and efficient control, which in turn, will help improve the general standards of the unique and organization within College where the service done to School and Country will be effectively enhanced.
