After four days of intense racing Royal College emerged runners up at the recently concluded Sri Lanka Schools Swimming Championship as well as runners up at the junior category and the senior category. Vice captain of the team, Yahiya Jaffer was awarded the U19 Boys individual Championship as he managed to set a new record in the 100m breast stroke event clocking a time of 1.11.45 breaking the previous record of 1.11.84.
