5S Implementation

The Japanese originated 5S System has been introduced to Royal College to improve the levels of quality in broader range and has worked very successfully, giving the school the required standards for quality control. The 5S stand for;

1)      Seiri – Get rid of all unnecessary things.

2)      Seiton – All necessary things must be there in the correct place.

3)      Seiso – Cleanliness

4)      Seiketsu – Standards

5)      Shitsuke – Training and continuously doing the above 4

To implement the system more effectively, each grade has been allocated a colour for desks and chairs.

They are also given name boards and direction boards in order to guide people inside the school. Also teachers leave charts to keep track of the system.
