Royal picked up from where they left off yesterday making runs at a very steady pace throughout the day. Two half centuries courtesy Sampath De Silva and Milan Abeysekera were the highlighted performances of the Royal innings. Just as Milan Abeysekera reached his half century, the heavy rains poured in and play was suspended without even reaching the end of the day’s second session. Unfortunately Royal lost an entire session due to today’s down pour.

Royal currently lead by 68 runs and will plan to make maximum out of tomorrow as the team will definitely be gunning for the win. Play commences at 9.45 am.
