The Rowing Nationals for the year 2014 concluded on the  28th of June at the Diyawanna lake in Battaramulla. The races saw Royal showing their dominance and being highlighted with many notable efforts in almost all the races.

The following results were achieved by the Royal College Rowing Crew at the Nationals Regatta.

U – 18 Winners

Double Scull  – Promod Rajaguru and Hashen Hettigoda
Pair – Lahiru Herath and Amrith Fernando
Four – Promod Rajaguru, Amrith Fernando, Lahiru Herath, Bilal Hassan and Kaveen Rajapakse (Cox)

School boy Sculler Winner – Hashen Hettigoda.

U – 18 Overall Champions – Royal College.

It is a Notable Achievement that Hashen Hettigoda was placed first and crowned School Boy Sculler, by overcoming the fierce competition in the form of Vishan Gunatilaka, Saliya Gunasekera, & Himendra Rodrigo.
