Royal wins QuadRonz for 2nd consecutive year
QuadRonz is a drama competition initiated by the Tamil Dramatic Society of Royal College in the 2012 involving Royal College, Methodist College, S. Thomas College and Bishop’s College. The 4th edition of the QuadRonz Competition was held today (31st of October) at the Bishop’s College Main Hall.
The event started off with the drama from S. Thomas College, followed by Methodist College’s Bishop’s College’s performances respectively. The most anticipated drama “SiTa”, directed under the theme of Ancient Literature in Modern Era was able to flourish the stage as the final drama of the competition and took the attention of P. S. Raadhikesh.
With that stunning performance, Royal College emerged as the winners for the year 2015 along with which they secured the awards for the Best Music Director, Best Stage Arrangement & Best Outstanding performer.
This Competition was initiated on 2012 and won by the Royal College at the on-start itself.. The Second edition was won by Methodist College; however the Royal College drama crew came back strong the following year and won the QuadRonz and 3 special awards in the year 2014 which was hosted by S. Thomas College, Mt. Laviniya.
