The Royal College Weight Lifting Team secured the following places at the Sri Lanka Novices Junior and Senior Weight Lifting Tournament which took place on the 26th and 27th of March at Shariputhra Maha Vidyalaya, Ahangama.

Under 17
56 kg – 2nd place – D.K.Y.Y.Dassanayake.
69 kg – 1st place – P.M.Malawana.
94 kg – 1st place – Nuwan Jayawardhane.
94+ kg -1st place -K.L.S.S.Kariyawasam.

Under 20
62 kg- 3rd place – R.G.D.D.Vimukthi.
