Abhina ’16, the Inter-School All Island Drama Competition organized by the Sinhala Drama Society of Royal College took place successfully on the 19^th July from 9.30 am onwards at the Navarangahala. The Competition featured a highly eminent judging panel which consisted of professional actors Mr. Sampath Thennakoon and Mr. Sanjeewa Upendra and Senior Lecturer at the Horana Sripalee University, Mr. Namal Jayasinghe. The following awards were presented:

Best Drama

3^rd Place – “Varadi nathi varadi kaarayo” by Nalanda College, Colombo.

2^nd Place – “Hidasaka Mohothak” by Visakha Vidyala, Colombo.

1^st Place – “Mathaka Vasthuva” by St. Lukes’ College, Rathnapura

Best Script – “Mathaka Vasthuva” by St. Lukes’ College, Rathnapura

Best Direction – “Mathaka Vasthuva” by St. Lukes’ College, Rathnapura

Best Actor – K. M. Ishan Udayanga (“Mathaka Vasthuva” by St. Lukes’ College, Rathnapura)

Best Actress – M. N. Fathima Safna (“Mathaka Vasthuva” by St. Lukes’ College, Rathnapura)
