“The research-backed handbook of the effective A/L student”

The first-ever book of its kind, A Guide to A/L Success lays the foundation for preparing for the most important and competitive exam of any Sri Lankan’s life: A/Ls. The Royal College Prefects’ Council 2019/20 presented the book to the Principal today at the official book launch ceremony.

Aimed at students of the A/L Science stream, it lays out important principles to follow when studying, and answers some of the practical problems most frequently faced by A/L students. Many of its lessons would prove valuable and easily applicable by all students alike, of different streams, or even junior grades, and is therefore worth the read for anyone interested in improving his academics.

In A Guide to A/L Success you will find

  1. 8 guidelines, based on our original research conducted on 313 past A/L students, of whom 111 got 3As.
  2. 3 articles authored by Professor S.R.D.Rosa, Dr. M.N.Kaumal and Mrs. Thamara Kumarihamy,
  3. 3 instructive case studies of students with good performances

“A marvellous job. Sharing experience is very important and highly beneficial for others to do the correct things. It is commendable that you selected the right group as the sample. Thanks are due to them too.”
