The Victory Parade of Royal College Tamil Debating Team has reached a special destination. Royal College Tamil Debating Team clinched the national title of the Sotkanai’23 organized by the University of Moratuwa for the first time in the history of the tournament. An all island tournament in which more than 200 schools have participated has filtered the regional front runners from the rest in each district and set up the stage to decide the ultimate National Champion on 11th of June 2023.

The team representing Royal College consisted of R.Abishek, S.Vhikaash, N.Shaaduckshan, M.Thiviyan and J.Hareish succeeded Jaffna Hindu College in the finals and became the champions while S.Vhikaash from Royal College was crowned the best debater of the tournament.
