Please note the requirements for admission to Advanced Level Classes:

General Requirements At least SIX passes with minimum of THREE credits including Sinhala and Mathamatics at the GCE (O/L) – 2019 December Examination. One of the credits should be for a relevant subject offered at the Advanced Level.

If the number of students offering a particular subject is not up to the number required, those students will have to select an alternative subject.

Requirements for different Courses:
Physical Science Credit pass for Mathematics and Simple pass for Science.
Biology Science Credit pass for Science and simple pass for Mathematics.
Commerce Simple pass for Commerce.

Available Subject Combinations:
Bio Science Physics/Agriculture, Chemistry, Biology.
Physical Science Physics, Chemistry, Combined Mathematics.
Commerce Option 1. Accounting, Business Studies, Economics.
Option 2. Accounting, Business Studies, ICT.
Option 3. Accounting, Economics, Business Statistics.
Option 4. Bus/Studies, Bus/Statistics, Combined Maths.
Common Stream – Physics, ICT, Combined Mathematics.
Arts Students should select only ONE out of each subject combination given below,
1. Agriculture/Music/Geography/Dancing/History/Buddhist Civilization/ German/ Oriental Music
2. Political Science/English Literature/Art/Drama/Media
3. Japanese/Sinhala/Economics/Logic/ICT/French

• Under the above arts subject combinations Economics and Geography can be offered in English Medium.
