The Royal College United Nations Club which started in 1979 was one of the major clubs at the College since its inception. Although initially starting off as a small group of students who were interested in charity work, it soon became a major society which helps in the growth of the College. Over the years the club has done many useful and major projects focusing primarily on charity work which helps orphaned people in the Colombo area and underprivileged families in various regions across the country.
