· The National Schools’ Basketball Tournament

· Under – 19 ‘A’ Division Tournament

Encounters

· The Royal – Thomian Basketball Encounter

· The Royal – Gateway Basketball Encounter

The Western Province Qualifiers are in June and are between schools in the Western Province. The winners and runners-up qualify for the National Schools Basketball Tournament. This tournament is at the college basketball courts.

The National Schools Basketball Tournament commences in late October and is contested by the winners and runners–up of each province. In 2019 Royal College emerged 3rd in the National Schools Tournament.
