167th Prize Giving 2025
The 167th Prize Giving will be held on the 23rd of January 2026.
Rehearsals
There will be a rehearsal prior to the event, on the 21st of January 2026.
All rehearsals will be done at the Navaragahala premises.
The rehearsal schedule is as follows:
Main Rehearsal – 21st of January from 8:30 onwards.
All Prize winners must be seated by 8:30am at Navarangahala.
Dress Code for the rehearsals
• Normal school attire for students who are still at school.
• The prize winners who are no longer attending college must wear a long sleeved white shirt (folded),
black trousers and black shoes.
• All attendees must have a decent haircut in line with normal school rules and must be clean shaven.
• Attending the rehearsals is compulsory for all prize winners.
General Guidelines for the Prize Giving
We kindly request the prize winners to familiarise themselves with these guidelines to ensure a smooth and efficient event.
Dress Code for the prize giving
- • The prize winners who are studying in the classes in grade 9 and below should wear a long sleeved
white shirt, white shorts, black shoes, white socks and the college tie.
- • The prize winners from classes in Grade 10 and above should wear a white shirt with long sleeves
(Not folded), white trousers, black shoes and the college tie.
- • The prize winners who are no longer attending college must wear a long sleeved white shirt with
the college tie, black trousers and black shoes.
- • All prize winners should groom themselves with a decent haircut in line with regular school rules and must be clean shaven.
This will be strictly enforced.
- • To verify identity, current students must present their Student Record Book, while prize winners who
are no longer attending school are required to produce their National Identity Card.
- • Registration will be done in the morning on the 23rd of January 2026.
- • All guests and prize winners must be seated at Navaragahala by 12 noon.
- • It is compulsory for all the prize winners to remain in their seats till the end of the proceedings.Further details about the prize giving will be given at the rehearsals.

- Prize winners who fail to adhere to the above guidelines will not be able to collect thier certificates or prizes on the day of the prize giving, they may collect thier prizes on a later date as notified by the prize giving committee.
