Flood Relief Campaign
Royal College, Colombo has initiated a programme to donate dry rations and other necessary items to those badly affected by the floods and the prevalent weather conditions. We would welcome any and all donors, who would like to contribute towards this cause, to hand over the following items to the special stalls will be erected on Rajakeeya Mawatha for this purpose on the 21st and 22nd of May. Donations will be accepted from 9.00 am onwards:
Basic necessities (to be donated as individual items)
- Rice
- Dhal
- Sugar
- Milk Powder
- Tea
- Dry Sprats
- Canned Fish
- Biscuits
- Water Bottles
- Plastic Bowls/Cups
- Towels
- Bed Sheets
- Clothing
Those willing may also contribute items as packages containing the following items:
- Rice (5 kg)
- Dhal (1 kg)
- Sugar (1 kg)
- Tea (250 g)
- Milk (1 packet)
- Canned Fish (2 cans)
- Bread (1 loaf)
- Jam (1 jar)
- Bars of Soap, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes (2 brushes)
- Chilli Powder (200 g)
- Curry Powder (100 g)
- Turmeric Power (50 g)
- Potatoes (500 g)
- Onions (500 g)
- Dry Sprats (250 g)
- Candles and Matchsticks (5 boxes)
- Salt (1 packet)
- Biscuits (3 packets)
- Instant Noodles (5 packets)

Note: If the weather conditions do not permit the collection process to take place outdoors, the collection centres will be moved to the College Hall.
