The Agriculture Society of Royal College is one of the most active school based agricultural societies in Sri Lanka, and is aimed at developing and promoting agriculture both within and outside of the school. During the past seven decades, it has become the birthplace for many specialists and social workers of the field. The initiative to form the club was taken in 1942, but the club was born in 1944 as the ‘Co-operative Farm Club’.
