• The 7th Royal Thomian Sailing Regatta is set to happen in September. The Regatta is between the Royal College and St. Thomas’s College Sailing teams. This encounter is set to be race at the Ceylon Motor Yacht Club in Bolgoda in 2018 Royal College won the Sailing Regatta by taking home majority of the titles with the Ranil Dias Memorial Trophy.
• Sri Lanka Sailing Nationals commences in late December and is contested by the winners and runners – up of different boat categories. This tournament is set to be hosted by the Yachting Association of Sri Lanka (YASL). In 2019 Royal College emerged with a one Gold, one Silver and one Bronze by different categories at the Sri Lanka Sailing nationals.
• IODA Asian and Oceanian Sailing Championship is the key event for all the Asian and Oceanian sailors.This year IODA Asian and Oceanian Championship will be held in this October in Thailand. With the launch of school level Sailing Championship in 2013, the first IODA Asian and Oceanian Championships were held in 2016 with the participation of Nisal Walpola and Sahanya Wevita,Later Kanila Gunasekara represented Sri lanka in 2017 IODA Asian and Oceanian Championship in Hong Kong. After Anuka Samaraweera and Sahanya Wevita represented Sri Lanka at the IODA Asian and Oceanian championship which was held at Myanmar in 2018.After that Manthisa Gunasekara and Udan Marapperuma participated in the IODA Asian and Oceanian championship held at Oman in 2019.
• Nisal Walpola, Binara Batuwanthudawe, Kanila Gunasekara, Anuka Samaraweera, Akindu Samaraweera, Sahanya Wevita participated in the Asian Youth Sailing Championship held in India in 2017.
